We visited a friend's house recently. He works in a research institute and travels across the world all the time.
We happened to see a map on his bedroom door and that attracted attention. It looked different and I could not comprehend it at the first sight. On a closer look, it was a map of Tibet along with neighboring countries but upside down!!!!
We were surprised and were curious to know the reason behind. He told us that he bought one during his visit to Tibet and perspectives do change when we look at a thing from a new, different angle altogether - politically, socially, economically and by all means.
It was fascinating. He also added that Tamil Nadu would be the northern most state if seen upside down 😀 Give it a thought, you will find interesting ideas yourselves!! 🙌
It definitely is a learning and we would stop complaining if children held their books upside down. Who knows what their perspective is? For children's perspectives are too hard for adults to comprehend. 😎
